“Why is Watermark Adding Compassion as a New Global Mission Partner?”

• Compassion’s goal is to take children living in extreme poverty all over the world, and meet their spiritual, physical, educational and emotional needs. 

• Watermark Church will be partnering with Compassion churches located in Guatemala, Peru, Kenya and Thailand. 

• The work that Compassion does addresses spiritual needs in Jesus’ name through the local church!

• Compassion helps the poorest of the poor in these countries. 
• Compassion immediately addresses these physical needs to ensure the child’s survival.  

• Compassion attacks the educational side of poverty as well.

When you and I support a child for $43 a month:

• The child receives nutritious meals and clean water – often for the first time in their lives! 

• The child receives a few sets of clothing and a pair of new shoes.

• The child receives immediate medical care. 

• The child’s school tuition is paid, their school uniform is purchased, and they get to go to school! 

• As the child ages, they receive important life skills training in income-generating vocations.

• The average Compassion child receives 400 hours of biblical discipleship a year!  

• Compassion children learn social skills and how to interact with people as they age.  

• The child gets to experience the love and emotional support of a local church family and the one-on-one relationship with you as sponsor.

• All this work is done as a partnership with a local Bible-believing church in the child’s village or town.

• Finally, when the child graduates from high school, they graduate from the program. 

Watermark Church is hoping to rescue at least 100 children from poverty today through our partner churches in Peru, Thailand, Guatemala and Kenya.
